Hot Takes of the Week

Home: List

Week of November 4th

College Basketball Teams to Watch Out For

With the College Basketball season starting, three teams to look out for are Penn State, Illinois, and Georgetown. All of these teams haven't been relevant in years and that's why I think they are underrated by the media and the country. Look out for all three of these teams come March.

Week of December 1st

Penn State Men's Basketball will make the NCAA Tournament

This the most talented team Pat Chambers has had, with depth and experience that will certainly be helpful come March. I believe that this team will make the Big Dance and prove many people wrong.

Friday Football Feels

Every Friday I dive into a piece of Football news and how I am feeling on the particular topic and issue.

Friday October 25th: Penn State will exercise their demons and beat Michigan State on the road after losing to them the past two years. East Lansing has been a house of horrors for the Nittany Lions but this team is playing with a new confidence and swagger that will propel them to 8-0.

Friday November 8th: The Eagles will beat the Patriots to extend their winning streak to three games. Another must win game for Philadelphia sees both them and New England coming off bye weeks. The Patriots were exposed last week against the Ravens and now face a hungry Eagles' team in Philly. This game will go down to the wire and I think the Eagles hold on for a season changing victory.

Friday November 29th: The Eagles will go 9-7 and win the NFC East. Even though the Eagles have struggled this year I believe that because 4 of the last 5 teams they play have losing records that they will win 4 of 5 and beat the Cowboys and make the playoffs.

Friday January 24th: The Chiefs will beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl. I'm pulling for Andy Reid on this one. I like Pat Mahomes and the weapons he has around him are incredible. The 49ers will be tough as Jimmy G will certainly make sure this is a high scoring game, but I like Big Andy and the Chiefs by a touchdown in this one.
